He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Forester Fannon; his father, John Edward Fannon, his brother, Kenneth Ray Fannon, and his daughter, Jennifer Lynn Farmer.
Survivors include his mother, Ruby Fannon, Claiborne, Tenn.; one daughter, Valdonna Fannon, Elcomb; one son, Jerry Dale Johnson, Frankfort; four brothers: Eddie Lee Fannon, Florence; James Fannon and Dorman Fannon, all of Las Vegas, Nev.; and Norman Fannon, Vandalia, Ohio; two sisters: Jean Rowe, Harlan; and Linda Jewell, Speedwell, Tenn.; one grandson, Preston Fannon; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was Tuesday at Rich Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted today at 1 p.m. at the chapel of Rich Funeral Home with the Rev. Josh Hensley and the Rev. Larry Branson presiding.
Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ed Harris, James Howard, Danny Howard, Garry Lynn Henson and Leo Miller.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Turner, Ron Johnson, Jack Thompson and Larry Fields.
Rich Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
