A native of Salt Lake City, Utah, he was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where he served as bishop from 1999 to 2004. He also served in the Marine Corps., was an employee of England Corsair, loved fishing, enjoyed playing rook and being with family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde H. Jeppson and Edna Jensen Jeppson; and his stepmother, Eileen McHugh Jeppson.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Howard Jeppson; one daughter, Stephanie Ferrin and husband, Pete, Thousand Oaks, Calif.; three grandchildren: Jacob, Matthew and Jenny; four brothers: Charles Jeppson and wife, Mary, Utah; Lawrence Jeppson and wife, Mabel, Texas; Dana Jeppson and wife, Jolene, Bountiful, Utah; and Wayne Jeppson and wife, Ellen, Bountiful, Utah; and two sisters: Carole Jeppson, Bountiful, Utah; and Alta Williams and husband, Richard, Bountiful, Utah.

Visitation is Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Reece Valley Chapel.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at noon at the chapel with Bishop Scott Hoskins officiating. Music will be by Jessica and Sandy Smith.

Burial will follow in the Hensley's Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Lawrence Jeppson, Dana Jeppson, Wayne Jeppson, Pete Ferrin, Bill Grabel, Douglas Howard and Jesse Gibson.

The honorary pallbearer will be Lester Hensley.
