Robert Ealy Jr., 80, Pathfork, died June 12, 2005, at the Harlan Nursing Home following a long illness.

He was a retired coal miner and believed in the Holiness faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Ealy and Ethel Howard Ealy; one son, Frankie Ealy; and one brother, Chester Ealy.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Joyce Parsley Ealy, Pineville; 12 children: Chester Ealy and wife, Sandra; Doris Blanton and husband, Chad; Nadine Craig and husband, Frank; Tony Ealy and wife, Francine, all of Pathfork; Shirley Caldwell and husband, Lawrence, Straight Creek; Ron Ealy and wife, Jackie, Ohio; Janie Brooks and husband, Jim; Ed Ealy and wife, Kim, all of Calvin; Coy Ealy and wife, Linda; Willene Moreno and husband, Bob, all of Georgia; Mike Ealy and wife, Ann, Harlan; and Ike Ealy and wife, Becky, Michigan; two brothers, Harold Ealy and Monroe Ealy; five sisters: Reba, Anna Mae, Pearl, Faye and Devonna; 30 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is today from 6 to 9 p.m. at Pathfork Holiness Church.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Pathfork Holiness Church with the Rev. Everett Eads and the Rev. Park Saylor officiating.

Burial will follow at the Saylor Cemetery in Pathfork.

Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.

Loyall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
