She was born July 1, 1943 in Harlan. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lenarue Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Chesney Johnson Hampton; two brothers, Harley and Jess Hampton; five sisters: June Whitman, Mary Frazier, Billie Jean Hampton. Marie Haynes and Elizabeth Duggen.

Survivors include her husband, David Osborne, Grays Knob; three children: Jeff Osborne and wife, Patti, Ivy Hill; Lisa Blanton and husband, Scott, Grays Knob; and Greg Osborne and wife, Kathy, Grays Knob; five grandchildren: Brandon Osborne, John Osborne, Chesney Osborne, Shonn Osborne-Blanton and Autumn Blanton; two brothers, Jack Hampton and wife, Carlie, Neff; and Eddie Hampton and wife, Jewell, Tremont; two sisters, Betty Ann Dozier, Lafayette, Ind.; and Bonnie Whitman, London. Several nieces, nephews and friends also survive.

Visitation will be held today from 6 to 9 p.m. in the chapel of the Mount Pleasant Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. in the chapel with the Rev. Larry Branson officiating.

Burial will follow in the Harlan County Memorial Gardens at Tremont.

Mount Pleasant Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
