Naomi Niday Taylor, 83, Wallins, died Feb. 11, 2006, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

A native and lifelong resident of Wallins, she was a homemaker and believed in the Holiness faith.

She was preceded in death by two husbands: Arthur Niday and Silas Taylor; her parents: Lloyd Daniel and Ella Osborne Daniel; two sisters: Dolara Ward and Lizzie Day Brock; and five brothers: Stokley Day, Right Day, Charlie Day, Roy Daniel and Edgar Daniel.

She is survived by her children: Arthur Niday and William Lloyd Niday, both of Wallins; one stepdaughter, Jewell Whitehead, Hillsboro, Ohio; one sister, Cloa Whitehead, Dover; four grandchildren: James Arthur Niday, Michael Niday, Anissa Niday and Willene Slusher; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Harlan Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Harlan Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Fugate officiating. Burial will follow at the Daniel Cemetery, Daniel Mountain, in Wallins.

Harlan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
