Henry Lewis, 89, Lenarue, died Feb. 21, 2006, at his residence.

He was a member of the Mary Helen Methodist Church and United Mine Workers of America.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Sally McGlammery Lewis; his wife, Lena Lewis; a son, Jimmy Lewis; two brothers: Tom Lewis and Edd Lewis; two sisters: Marie Hill and Myrtle Haywood; and a grandson, Danny Julian Lewis.

Survivors include two children: Danny Lewis and wife, Linda, Westland, Mich.; and Sue Greenwell and husband, Joseph, Kingsport, Tenn.; a grandson, William David Lewis; a special friend, Elaine Stewart; a special niece and nephew: Brenda and Ben Rhymer; two sisters-in-law: Kyla Lewis, Moulton, Ala.; and Beulah Sturgill, Loveland, Ohio; a special best buddy, DJ; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Saturday after 11 a.m. at Mary Helen Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. at the church with the Rev. Bob Landis officiating.

Burial will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Resthaven Cemetery.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mary Helen Methodist Church.

Rich Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
