Franklin Delano Qualls, 70, of Lynch, died June 24, 2006, at Appalachian Regional Hospital in Harlan.

He was a native of Harlan and was a minister with the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Thomas and Lora Moore Qualls; two brothers: Thurman and Harvey Qualls; and one sister, Gertrude Qualls.

Survivors include three children: David Wayne Qualls, Franklin Delano Qualls and Donnie Roween; two stepchildren: Temujin David Zaeower and Ian Eric Zaeower, both of Lynch; and five brothers: William Qualls, Harlan; Howard Qualls, Cawood; Jimmy Qualls, Stanfield; Elmer Qualls, Louisville; and Tilman Qualls, Fort Worth, Texas.

Visitation will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses in Nolansburg. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Kyle Thompson officiating.

Tri-City Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
