A native of Harlan County, she had lived here most of her life. She was a homemaker and believed in the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thelma Stanford Bray and Sol Bray; a daughter, Mary Ann Ross; and a sister, Helen Bray Lalone.
Survivors include a daughter, Rebecca Ellen Ross, Evarts; a son, Charles Wayne Ross, Evarts; two brothers: Delbert Bray, Evarts; and Nathaniel Bray and wife, Dottie, San Antonio, Tex.; three grandsons: Adam Wayne Ross, Jeremy Aaron Ross and Matthew Christopher Ross, all of Kansas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation is today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Evarts Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Jim Clem officiating.
Burial will follow in the Evarts Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Evarts Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
