A native of Frakes, she was a homemaker and a member of the Keith Church of God Union Assembly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Arkie Vanover Powers; two husbands, Elmer Thompson and John A. Saylor; one sister, Versie Jane Hurst; one step-son, John H. Saylor; and two infant daughters.
Survivors include one brother, Jack Powers and wife, Aileen, Frakes; one step-daughter-in-law, Ruby Saylor, Harlan; two step-grandsons: Johnney and Jason Saylor, both of Harlan; and several church family members and friends.
Visitation is today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Keith Church of God Union Assembly.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at the church with the Rev. Charlen Brafford and the Rev. Sonny Jones officiating.
Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith.
Men of the church will serve as pallbearers.
Mount Pleasant Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
