The McRaes, a sister duet from Nashville, have claimed the top song in the Singing News for the second time in less than two years.

“He Knows My Name” will be the No. 1 song for October.

“If It Had Not Been The Lord” was the duo's first top song in December 2004.

The McRaes recently announced a booking agreement with the Beckie Simmons Agency, of Nashville.

“Annie and Kelly are a tremendous talent. Vocal ability combined with their songwriting equals a performance the whole family will enjoy. Their success at radio with consistent charting songs and their constant travel schedule confirms that audiences already love them,” said Simmons. “We at BSA are so excited to share this unique talent with the world and further their ministry.”

Kelly exchanged wedding vows earlier this year with Ricky Free, who plays drums for his father's quartet, Brian Free & Assurance

The duo has reached the Top 10 with songs like, “ I Will Overcome,” “When Nothing But A Miracle Will Do,” “There Is A Remedy,” “Low And Down” and “Mountaintop For Me.”

The McRaes will be performing at Robinson Middle School in Kingsport, Tenn., during October. The rest of the concert lineup includes the Whisnants, the Melody Trio and Tony McGee & New Covenant.
