Lawrence, running in the meet for the second consecutive year, finished 74th in the boys Class A race, posting a time of 18:58.02. His teammate, senior Jordan Dugger, posted a time of 20:00.53 and finished 135th.
In the girls Class A race, Evarts eighth-grader Haley Helton finished 113th with a time of 23:56.53.
Cawood had five runners in the Class 2A competitions. On the boys side, seventh-grader Hunter Middleton finished 176th with a time of 20:58.72. He was followed by sophomores Joseph Turner (185th, 21:49.11) and James Hensley (186th, 21:56.37).
Sophomore April Grubbs placed 186th in the girls race, posting a time of 26:55.70. She was followed by sophomore Ashley Simmons, who finished 193rd with a time of 28:52.52. Both girls also ran in last year's state meet.
