A native of Harlan County, he was a truck driver having been employed by Bev Coal Company.
Survivors include his wife, Tabitha North, Baxter; his mother, Jeanette Johnson and husband, Elzo, Putney; his father, Ralph North, Baxter; two children: Kendra North and Keely North, both of Baxter; one sister, America Alred and husband, Jonathan, Baxter; nieces and nephews: Cody Alred, Anthony North, Jonathan Alred, Harley Moses, Randy Moses, Tyler Scearse, Jacob Crider and Pasey Crider; and several other relatives and friends.
Visitation is today from 6 to 9 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Josh Hensley officiating.
Burial will follow in the Harlan County Memorial Gardens of Tremont.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
