Reva Y. Cornett Burkhart, 71, London, formerly of Lily, died Feb. 10, 2007, at her home.

She was born on Oct. 29, 1935, in Harlan County and was a member of the East London Holiness Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Sudie Robbins Cornett; a daughter, Iva Joyce Burkhart Calhoun; two brothers: Willard Brown and Lee Cornett Jr.; and three sisters: Maggie Black, Rebecca Lunsford and Goldie Ortenzi.

She is survived by her husband, James Willard Burkhart; three sons: Frank Burkhart and wife, Jan, Warren, Mich.; Michael Ray Burkhart and wife, Karen, Brookville, Ind.; and Douglas Willard and wife, Tammy, Hamilton, Ohio; three daughters: Stella Fish and husband, Michael, Rising Sun, Ind.; Judy Gail Harris and husband, Ronnie, Patriot, Ind.; and Betty Bimber and husband, Bob, Hamilton, Ohio; 20 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation was held Sunday at the East London Holiness Church.

Funeral services will be conducted today at 11 a.m. at the church with Brother Joe Burns and Brother Jerry Holland officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Chapel Cemetery in Corbin. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
