Nora Thelma Ball, 78, London, formerly of Ages, died Sunday morning at the home of her daughter, Linda Muncy, in London, Kentucky.

Ball was a homemaker and member of the Ages Free Pentecostal Church that she dearly loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Lee and Beaulah Viola Meeks Seagroves; her husband, S.W. "Sweet" Ball; three brothers: Roy Seagroves, Howard Seagroves and James Seagroves; two sisters: Nancy Brock and Bessie Todd; and two children: Allen Duron Mink and Gracie Stephens.

She is survived by seven children, Linda and husband, Scott Muncy, London; Bill and wife, Ethel Ball, Evarts; Juanita Hickson, Ages; Marie Adkins, Rockhold; Hazel Kimbly, Livingston, Texas; Earl and wife, Lola Ball, Colburn, Virginia; Burley and wife, Bessie Ball, Banner, Virginia; two sisters: Lottie Hoskins and Novella Hoskins, both of Allerton, Ill.; a very special and dear friend, Gary Henson Sr.; also a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many family friends also survive.

Visitation will be held today after 6 p.m. at the Ages Free Pentecostal Church.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the church with the Rev. Joe Burns, the Rev. Rod Shackleford and the Rev. Gary Long officiating.

Burial will follow in Ages-Brookside Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Doug Burkhart, Tim Burkhart, Mike Burkhart, Kenneth Burkhart, Tim Yaden and Josh Duff.

Rich Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
