Paris B. Howard, 55, Speedwell, Tenn., formerly of Molus, died March 23, 2007, at the Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Mich.

Born Dec. 1, 1951 in Molus, Howard was a retired machine repairman for Ford Corporation. He was a member of the UAW and was a veteran of the United States Army. Howard believed in the Pentecostal faith and was a member of the Busch League-Pool League.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray Berry Howard and Effie "Tootsie" Christian Howard; and a brother, Jimmy Howard.

Survivors include four children: Glenn Howard, Gibraltar, Mich.; Melissa Brooks and husband, Rick, Saline, Mich.; Crystal Crislip, Belleville, Mich.; and Lola Woods, of Michigan; four brothers: Charles R. Howard and wife, Sylvia, Jacksonville, Fla.; Danny Howard, Tazewell, Tenn.; Mark Howard and Luke Howard, both of Harrogate, Tenn.; three sisters: Barbara Saylor and husband, Ted, Molus; Avon Hensley and husband, Ernest, Corbin; and Pauline Osborne and husband, Don, Speedwell, Tenn.; 14 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held today after 6 p.m., and also on Wednesday until the hour of the funeral at the Liberty Pentecostal Church in Molus.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the church.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Burial will follow in the Christian Family Cemetery at Wallins.

Mount Pleasant Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
