He was born July 11, 1949 in Knox County, Ky. Mr. Engle was a retired truck driver and a member of the Cranks Pentecostal Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ben Engle; Grandaughter, Hannah LauraLeah Pace; Grandparents: CP and Ada Fox; and Beckham and China Engle.
Survivors include his mother, Nannie Engle of Lenarue; his wife; Lillie Mae Engle of Cawood; four daughters: Ursula Hensley and husband, Bill, of Bobs Creek; Angela Engle of Knoxville, TN; Michelle Boggs Pace and husband, Frank, of Cawood; and Jennifer Boggs of Cawood; four grandchildren: Triston Hensley, Adam Boggs, Dannica Engle and Brianna Pace; one brother, Jim Engle and Liz, of Lenarue; three sisters: Colleen Scearse and husband, Scudder, of Lenarue; Kathy Saylor and husband, Bill, of Norfolk, VA; Marie Gilbert and husband, Bo, of Mary Alice; and several nieces and nephews, relatives and special friends.
Visitation will be held today from 6 to 9 p.m. in the chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Cranks Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Gary Pace officiating.
Burial follow in Resthaven Cemetery at Keith.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
