The following cases have been heard in Harlan District Court, Judge Jeff Brock presiding.

Lawrence Johnson, 50, disorderly conduct - fined $178.

Mary Gibbs King, harassment (no physical contact) - pleaded not guilty, jury trial set Nov. 20.

Billy S. Deal, 30, third-degree terroristic threatening - pleaded not guilty, jury trial set Nov. 27.

Vicki D. West, 45, fourth-degree assault (domestic violence with no visible injury) - pleaded not guilty, jury trial set Nov. 20.

Dorothy R. Williams, 34, license plate not illuminated, operating vehicle on suspended/revoked operator's license, failure to produce insurance card, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security (first offense), possessing license when privileges are revoked/suspended - continued for arraignment July 23.

Donald R. Mills II, 35, theft by deception (under $300) - failed to appear for hearing.

Ashley Cochran, 22, theft by unlawful taking (under $300) - continued for arraignment.

Tammy Caldwell, 37, second-degree possession of a controlled substance (first offense) - jury trial set Nov. 13.

Sandra G. Sheffield, 35, theft by deception (under $300) - continued for arraignment July 11.

Antonio V. Simmons, 30, theft by deception (under $300) - failed to appear for hearing.

Tamra R. Roby, 35, three counts of theft by deception (under $300) - dismissed on restitution.

Alan Harris, 46, third-degree terroristic threatening - pretrial conference scheduled Aug. 20.

Bobby Sizemore, 52, fourth-degree assault (domestic violence with no visible injury) - pleaded not guilty, jury trial set Oct. 29.

Michael L. Washington, 19, second-degree fleeing or evading a police officer in a motor vehicle, disorderly conduct, reckless driving - jury trial set Aug. 7.

Carol A. Grubbs, 51, theft by unlawful taking (under $300) - pleaded guilty, fined $228 and sentenced to 60 days in jail (probated 12 months).

April Kidwell, 27, theft by failure to make required disposition of property (under $300) - dismissed on agreement of peace bond.

Jamie Farley, 31, fourth-degree assault (domestic violence with no visible injury) - amended to disorderly conduct, fined $178.

Jessica Kirklin, 24, theft by deception (under $300) - dismissed on restitution.

Rickie Burkhart, 36, fourth-degree assault (domestic violence with no visible injury) - dismissed by complaining party.

Jimmy R. Carmack, 40, fourth-degree assault (minor injury) - pretrial conference scheduled July 23.

Patricia Harris, 29, operating vehicle on suspended/ revoked operator's license, failure to produce insurance card, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security (first offense), three counts of failure to wear seat belt, expired or no Kentucky registration receipt, failure to register transfer of a motor vehicle - failed to appear for hearing.

Roscoe Smith, 63, theft by deception (under $300) - dismissed on restitution.

Obie J. York III, 23, speeding (13 miles per hour over the limit), failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security (first offense), failure to produce insurance card - continued for arraignment.

Paul Lloyd Verlain Napier, 45, theft by deception (under $300) - continued for arraignment July 11.

Jeremy A. Hartford, 18, speeding (26 or more miles per hour over the limit), reckless driving, failure to wear seat belt, second-degree fleeing or evading a police officer in a motor vehicle - first charge, amended to speeding (10 miles per hour over the limit), pleaded guilty, fined $95 on the first three charges; other charge dismissed.

Michael A. Williams, 29, theft by deception (under $300) - dismissed on restitution.

Jessica Kirklin, 24, two counts of theft by deception (under $300) - dismissed on restitution.

Shari J. Roberts, 22, speeding (five miles per hour over the limit), failure to produce insurance card - pleaded guilty, fined $188.

Monica L. Taylor, 37, theft by deception (under $300) - failed to appear for hearing.

Robert A. Thomas, 28, theft by deception (under $300) - dismissed on restitution.

Elizabeth E. Turner, 25, two counts of theft by deception (under $300) - continued for arraignment July 11.

Joseph L. Jones, 24, speeding (18 miles per hour over the limit), operating vehicle on suspended/ revoked operator's license, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security (first offense), expired or no Kentucky registration receipt, expired or no registration plate, failure to produce insurance card - continued for arraignment July 16.

Keith Turbyfill, 34, theft by deception (under $300) - continued for arraignment July 11.

Keith Turbyfill, 34, theft by deception (under $300) - continued for arraignment July 11.

Kerry Partin, 37, theft by deception (under $300) - dismissed on restitution.

Roscoe Smith, 63, two counts of theft by deception (under $300) - dismissed on restitution.

Tasha L. Wynn, 19, expired or no registration plate - failed to appear for hearing.

Billy Martin, 37, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security (first offense), failure to register transfer of a motor vehicle, expired or no registration plate, failure to wear seat belt, improper registration plate, no operator's/moped license, expired or no Kentucky registration receipt - first four charges, pleaded guilty, fined $675 ($400 suspended); other charges dismissed.

Stephen D. Huff, 19, speeding (18 miles per hour over the limit), expired or no registration plate - first charge, amended to equipment failure, fined $153; other charge dismissed.

Rebecca L. Sumpter, 29, speeding (18 miles per hour over the limit), failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security (first offense), failure to wear seat belt, expired or no registration plate - first charge, fined $128 and sentenced to traffic school; other charges dismissed.

Billy R. Robbins Jr., 31, no operator's/moped license, expired or no registration plate, failure to produce insurance card, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security (first offense) - continued for arraignment July 23.

Carl D. Howard, 53, license plate not legible, license plate not illuminated - dismissed on proof and repair.

Raymond Foley, 36, first-degree first-offense driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, failure to register transfer of a motor vehicle, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security (first offense), expired or no registration plate, failure to wear seat belt - pleaded not guilty, jury trial set Aug.7.

Mary J. Ward, 24, failure to use child restraint device, license plate not illuminated, license to be in possession, failure to produce insurance card, failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance (first offense) - first two charges, pleaded guilty, fined $75; other charges dismissed.
