He was born Jan. 26,1962 in Harlan. He believed in the Catholic faith.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlene Latham.
He is survived by his father, Anthony Fredrick "Jessie" Simms, of Boston, Mass; and a special momma, Rosie Pennington Blevins and husband, Dallas, of Rosspoint; sisters: Tracie Fotter and husband, David, of Georgia; Cecila "Ree Ree" Latham, of Cincinnati,Ohio; and Twila Latham, of Harlan; and Crystal Barger and husband, Paul, and their three children, of Harlan; special uncles: Charles Simms and Frank Latham; also surviving are several other nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Aug. 9, 2007 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 10, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Collins and Rev. Willard King.
Pallbearers will be Charles Simms, Frank Latham, Reggie Young, Paul Barger, Greg Green, Glenn Blevins and Michael Earls.
Mount Pleasant Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
