Freddy L. Marlowe, 24, of Loyall, was arrested by Loyall City Police Chief Owen Noe on a warrant for receiving stolen property over $300.
According to Noe's citation, around 20 knives and a jar of pennies worth approximately $53 were taken from the home of Robert Watkins, on Johnnie Street in Loyall. The knives and pennies were valued at over $300.
Noe stated that he has a video surveillance printout of Marlowe cashing in the pennies at a bank.
Marlowe was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center with bond set at $5,000 full cash.

-- Sharon Lynn Combs, 36, of Jonesville, Va., was arrested by Harlan County sheriff's deputy David Williams during a traffic stop.
Combs was charged with reckless driving, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, first-degree possession of a controlled substance and third-degree unlawful transaction with a minor.
According to the citation, Combs was stopped, along with another vehicle driven by Tiffany Renee Ledford, 23, of Pennington Gap, Va., after the cars backed out from a residence at a high rate of speed.
Williams said Combs was disoriented. He allegedly found a syringe, a vial of water and a cup with a rock of a substance believed to be crack cocaine. A small child was also in the car.
Ledford was charged with operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license, no proof of insurance, failure to produce insurance card and giving false name or address.
After Ledford was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center, Harlan City Police officer Mike Thomas served a warrant on her on a receiving stolen property over $300 charge.
-- Travis Christopher Cole, 29, of Holmes Mill, was arrested by KSP trooper Jason Young while answering a fight complaint at Eastbrook Apartments.
Young said when he turned onto Eastbrook Station Road, he noticed a red car sitting in the middle of the road with its lights on.
"I got out and approached the vehicle. When I got up to the driver side door, I noticed a male subject slumped over in the driver seat. The subject was holding a Tylenol bottle in his hand which contained one 'Oxy,' one Ultram, half of a Lortab and a half of a Xanax," Young said. "He also had pill residue in his right nostril."
Young said Cole failed a sobriety test, and he had a substantial amount of money in his possession.
Cole was charged with first-, second- and third-degree trafficking a controlled substance, first-, second- and third-degree possession of a controlled substance, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, failure to produce insurance card, failure of owner to maintain required insurance, failure to wear a seat belt and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Cole was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center with bond set at $20,000 full cash.
-- Stewart Edward Cochran, 46, of Evarts, was arrested by Evarts City Police Chief Lupe Blas on charges of trafficking a controlled substance within 1,000 yards of a school and a prescription controlled substance not in an original container.
Cochran was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center with bond set at $5,000 full cash.
-- Judy Fox, 57, of Kenvir, was arrested by KSP trooper Marcus Williams on a warrant for first-degree burglary and theft by unlawful taking (firearm).
According to a warrant, Fox entered the residence of Hubert Phillips and took his M-I .30 cal. carbine rifle without his permission.
Fox was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center with bond set at $20,000 full cash.
-- Elvis Toby Ferrell, 28, of Middlesboro, was arrested by Kentucky State Police trooper James Earl Hensley on a theft by unlawful taking and second-degree burglary warrant.
According to the warrant, Ferrell took various items belonging to Earl Browning, of Harlan.
Ferrell was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center with bond set at 10 percent of $5,000.
