She believed in the Holiness Faith and is preceded in death by: her parents, Charley Lasely and Sara Ellen Williams; her husband Edgar Ray Jones; two children: Geraldine Jones and Edward Jones; a grandson, Kenneth Ray North; two sisters: Edna Mae Rathbun, Marie Miller, and one brother, Homer Lasely.
She is survived by: five children: David Jones, Shireleen Simpson, Elmer (Janis) Jones, Janette (Elzo) Johnson, and Kenneth Jones; three grandchildren: Shelia Helton, America (John) Alred, and Danny Ray Jones; three sisters: Doris Bray, Maxine Bray and Juanita Williams; three grandchildren, Shelia Helton, America (John) Alred and Danny Ray Jones; six great-grandchildren: Curtis Helton, JT Alred, Coty Alred, Anthony North, Kendra North and Keeley North; also her special friends, Bruce Howard, Ben and Lisa Turner.
Visitation will be held today from 6 until the funeral hour in the chapel of Rich Funeral Home
Funeral service will be conducted today at 8 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Charles Duff officiating.
Burial will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Harlan County Memorial Gardens.
Rich Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
