She was born October 9, 1950 in Leslie County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bledsoe Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Brock; one brother, Wilburn Brock; and one sister, Ola Jean Brock.
Survivors include her mother, Hettie Brock, of Helton; two children: Carla Burns Simpson and husband, Wayne, of Bledsoe; Christie Annette Burns, of Bledsoe; father of their two daughters, Carlo Burns Jr.; one granddaughter, Carly Leanna Osborne, of Bledsoe; two step-grandchildren: Danielle Simpson and Josh Simpson, both of Bledsoe; one brother, Willie Brock Jr., and wife, Sue, of Helton; two sisters: Eulain Caldwell and husband, Julius, of Bledsoe; and Wanda Howard and husband, Kenneth, of Helton; a sister-in-law, Darlene Brock, of Harrogate, Tenn.; a special friend, Mayrene Tolliver; and several nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held Tuesday, September 25, 2007 after 6 p.m. at the Bledsoe Pentecostal Church.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at 2 p.m. at the Bledsoe Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Perry Long officiating.
Burial will follow in the New Brock Family Cemetery at Helton.
Christopher Brock, Shawn Wilson, Dustin Wilson, Billy Ray Burns, Cotton Asher, Dustin Asher and Josh Simpson will serve as pallbearers.
Mount Pleasant Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
