Stage Stores Inc. announced it would be opening a new Peebles store in Harlan. According to a recent press release, Peebles has a reputation for bringing style, selection and value to neighborhoods and small communities across the country.
Peebles will have several departments for the convenience of their customers, including misses, juniors, men, children, shoes, fragrances, accessories and home accents.
The store plans to carry brand-name merchandise, including Sag Harbor, Izod, Liz Claiborne, Estee Lauder and Clinique fragrances, Dockers, Haggar, Van Heusen, Chaps, Levi, U.S. Polo Assn., Union Bay, New Balance, Reebok, Nike, Clarks, Carter's and many more.
Peebles customers will have access to a store credit card and a VIP Rewards Program. Peebles credit card customers earn VIP rewards, such as invitations to exclusive savings events, free gift wrapping and more. Cardholders also receive bonus savings coupons via mail. Additionally, Peebles offers a special discount program expressly for customers age 50 and over.
The Harlan store will become Peebles' 18th store in the state, according to information listed on their Web site. Other locations within the state include Winchester, Somerset, Pikeville and Hazard.
"We are very glad to have Peebles and we wish them the best of luck. We hope the community comes out to support them," said Darby Bennett of the Village Center Mall.
