She was a homemaker and believed in the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Glen Doil Vandagriff and Juanita Nannie Trosper Vandagriff.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Prewitt; four children: Charles Prewitt Jr. and wife, Valorie; Stephen Prewitt and Kim Prewitt Buffington; Sandra A. Smith and husband, Johnny; and John Prewitt and wife, Tiffany, all of McDonough, Ga.; nine grandchildren; four brothers and sisters: Doil Vandagriff and wife, Joann, of Cranks; Ronnie Vandagriff and wife, Debra, of LaFollette, Tenn.; Linda Noe and husband, Sammy, of Smith; and Wanda Newsome and husband, Ollie, of Rose Hill, Va.
Visitation was held Monday, Dec. 3 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 4 at 2 p.m. at Day-Jackson Cemetery in Cranks. The Rev. Howard Farmer will be officiating.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Mount Pleasant Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
