She was born April 8, 1939 in Illinois. Mrs. Hensley was a homemaker and believed in the Pentecostal faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Elva Weinrank; two children: James Crist Hensley and Deborah Sue Hensley.
Survivors include her husband, James Hensley; eight children: Elsie Hensley and husband, Clyde; Crist Hensley; Colieta Saavedra and husband, Edgar; Donald Hensley and wife, Judy; William Hensley and wife, Debra; James Hensley and wife, Felicha, all of Wallins; Fred Hensley, of Knoxville, Tenn.; Gloria Hensley, of Totz; sister, Gertrude Brucker, of Arizona; Gloria and Steve, of Totz; 11 grandchildren: John Hensley, James Hensley, Christina Hensley, Chasity Hensley, Alexis Hensley, Timothy Hensley, Christy Daniels, Jeremey Hensley, Laura Edwards, Tosha Wilson and Irene Saavedar; 11 great-grandchildren: Elizabeth Nelson, Latoya Edwards, Ty Edwards, Sara Daniels, Katelyn Daniels, Angel Hensley, Whitney Hensley, Britney Hensley, Mashawna Hall, Cassie Hall and Daniel Hall; and several other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008 at 1 p.m. at the Bud Simpson Church with the Rev. Doug Daniel and the Rev. James Matthew Boggs officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hensley Cemetery of Wallins.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Pallbearers will be Fred Hensley, James Hensley, Donald Hensley, Crist Hensley, John Hensley, James G. Hensley, Bill Noe, HL Farley and Grover Saylor.
