Susan White Hobbs, 48, of Dry Ridge, Kentucky, formerly of Evarts, entered eternal rest Wednesday, February 19, 2008 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood following a brief illness. Susan was a graduate of Evarts High School and had worked in the manufacturing industry in northern Kentucky. She believed in the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest White, and a brother, Bobby White.

Survivors include her husband Jon R. Hobbs, Dry Ridge; three children, David Hobbs and wife, Becky, Florence, KY; Adam Hobbs, Dry Ridge; Amanda Hobbs, Florence, KY; her mother, Dorothy Pryor White, Evarts; three sisters, Judy Wilhoit and husband, Jimmy, Lawnvale; Marcella Huckleby and husband, Robert, Rosspoint; Janice Craig and husband, Jim, Brodhead; seven brothers, Jerry White and wife, Glenda, Verda; Ernie White, Evarts; Larry White and wife, Kim, Keith; Paul White and wife, Lisa, Evarts; Michael White and wife, Angie, Evarts; James White and wife, Sheila, Dartmont; and Jack White and wife, Rhonda, Evarts. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Tyler and Brady Hobbs; her grandmother, Roxie Pryor, Evarts; her sister-in-law, Katherine White, Mt. Vernon; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Visitation will be from 5 - 8 pm Friday at the Yocum Creek Baptist Church at Evarts.

Funeral services will be held at 8 pm Friday evening at the church with the Reverend Jim Craig officiating.

Interment will be at 11 am Saturday at Evarts Memorial Gardens.

Evarts Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
