Kentucky State Police trooper James Earl Hensley arrested Michael Gross, 45, on warrant obtained by a KSP narcotics detective.
It is alleged on the warrant that Gross sold two Methadose wafers to a cooperating witness.
Gross was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center with bond set at $10,000. After other police agencies learned of Gross' arrest, other warrants were served on him. The charges included seven counts of theft by deception (cold checks). Another bond on those charges was placed against Gross.
