Junior right-hander Kelsey Day pitched a one-hitter Monday as Cumberland pounded visiting Leslie County 14-0.
Day (2-1), who struck out nine and walked none, took a no-hitter into the fifth inning.
She also paced the Lady Skins on offense with two singles and a double. Kalyn Carruba, Samantha Sexton and Stacy Houser each doubled and singled. Colleen Boggs added two singles, while Jenny Clay and Heather McQueen contributed one single each.
The Lady Skins led 4-0 after one inning, added three runs in the second inning and led 13-0 after the third inning.
Cumberland (2-1) plays host to Cawood on Wednesday at 5 p.m. Leslie County (0-2) entertains Breathitt County today.

Evarts left 10 base runners stranded the first four innings and committed nine errors in a loss Monday at Lynn Camp.
Tyler Brock powered Lynn Camp with a double and single. Cody Sapcut and Andrew Wilson each singled twice.
Brad Bargo and Brandon Abner combined on a five-hitter for the host Wildcats.
Sophomore outfielder J.D. Zunda led Evarts with a double, two runs and an RBI. Jamie Wynn, Derek Cochran, Zack Flanary and Shane Flanary each singled once. David Pratt added an RBI.
Dakota Taylor (0-2) suffered the loss for the Wildcats. He allowed eight runs on four hits, struck out one and walked four in 3 1/3 innings. Zack Flanary gave up seven runs on four hits with two walks and one strikeout in 1 2/3 innings.
Evarts (1-3) returns to action today against Buckhorn. The game will be played at Cawood High School at 6 p.m.
Lynn Camp (2-3) is scheduled to visit South Laurel today.
