Ethan Jason Brock, 16 days old, went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 12, 2008. He was born March 28, 2008 at the Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, Virginia.

Survivors include his parents, Erin Stevens Brock and Jared Wesley Brock, Closplint; two brothers, Jacob Begley, Jr., Closplint, and Dawson Brock, Cumberland; his grandparents, Debbie Stevens, Evarts; Ricky and Norma Clark, Closplint; Shankar and Vicki Santhira, Dayton, OH; Marion and Georgia Brock, Kenvir; great-grandparents, Ray and Faye Clark, Holmes Mill; Arkie Huff, Middlesboro; and Betty Brock, Holmes Mill.

Also surviving are his aunts and uncles, Kevin Clark and fiancé, Janice Middleton, Jason and Chasity Brock, James “Duke” Ellis, Charles “Bubby” and Gena Sluss, Josh Brock, Ketera and B.J. Fee, Shirley and Herman Blakley, Diana Hawkins and William Johnson, and Bill and Lisa Price; special friends, Misty and Toby Clark; and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Billy Joe Stevens.

Visitation will be held after 5 pm Monday at the Closplint Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 am at the Church with the Rev. Ira Lee Clark and the Rev. Paul White officiating.

Burial will follow in the Short Cemetery at Holmes Mill. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
