The Sunshine Volunteer Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire Monday off U.S. 421 at Baxter. The Ford Explorer was engulfed with flames upon the fire department’s arrival. The cause of the fire has not been determined. Kentucky State Police trooper Matt Ridener is in charge of the investigation.
