Beverly Ann Harding Freeman, 54, of Harlan, Ky., passed away Friday August 1, 2008, at her residence.

Mrs. Freeman was born January 9, 1954 in Detroit, MI. She was a case manager for the Department of Community Based Services retiring after 16 years of service, and a part time employee at Big Lots Retail Store for 11 years. Mrs. Freeman was also a member of the Cumberland Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Robert Harding Sr. and Mossie Lee Hoskins Harding; and a husband Paul Richard Creech.

Survivors include her husband and companion; Garrell Freeman, of Harlan, Ky. Two sons: Rich Creech, of Florence, Ky. Chad Creech and wife, Jamie, of Walton, Ky. Two daughters: Trish Ethier and husband, Justin, of Maynardville, TN. Leslie Jennings and husband, Dale, of Oak Park, MI; two granddaughters: Caitlyn Creech and Joslyn Ethier; one grandson, Caleb Creech; four sisters: Donna Simpson and husband, Lonnie, of Pineville, Ky. Barbara Ayers and husband, Bruce, of Cumberland, Ky. Mary Fuson and husband, David, of Lexington, Ky. and Rosie Keys of Lexington, Ky; two brothers: Clarence Harding Jr. and wife, Elizabeth, of Pineville, Ky. Jimmy Harding and wife, Doreen, of Corbin, Ky; two special friends: Teresa Kelly, of Wallins, Ky. and Judy Huff, of Holmes Mill, Ky; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 3, 2008 at 8 p.m. in the chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Williams officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted Monday, August 4, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Resthaven Cemetery in Keith, Ky.

Pallbearers will be Sean Ayers, Andy Ayers, John Faulkner, Homer Fortney, Matthew Fox, Ralph Souleyret, Gary Dendergraft and Fred Mann.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Chapel.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of the Blue Grass, The American Cancer Society, or The Cumberland Missionary Baptist Church.
