A one-vehicle crash Monday at Short Town sent an Evarts woman to the hospital with minor injuries. According to Kentucky State Police trooper Jared Boggs, Amanda Brock, 42, was traveling west on KY 38 when she crossed into the eastbound lane, lost control and entered a ditchline. She was transported to Harlan ARH Hospital. Boggs is shown at the wrecked vehicle. The Harlan County Rescue Squad responded due to reports of entrapment. Brock was cited to court on charges of driving under the influence of drugs and no seat belt.
