Sonita Y. Hall, age 53 of Cumberland departed this life on April 19, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Letcher County to Cliston and Ada Maggard Johnson. Sonita believed in the Baptist faith and enjoyed being a homemaker for her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Cliston and Ada Maggard Johnson.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, David Hall; two sons, Nathan Hall and Delena of Cumberland, and David Hall of Greenfield, IN; three grandchildren, Allek, Kasady and Siara Hall; and a host of family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 21, 2012, in the chapel of the Tri City Funeral Home between 6 – 9 pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, April 22, 2012, at 11:00 am with Kenny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Monte Vista Cemetery in Cumberland.

Her family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
