The Kentucky football Wildcats concluded spring practice April 21 with the Blue-White game at Commonwealth Stadium. The game marked the final of 15 allocated springtime practice sessions, with the first team defeating second and third-team players, 31-24. UK, 5-7 in 2012, will open the season September 2 by battling Louisville. Joker Phillips will enter his third season as the Wildcats’ coach and hopes to lead his team to another bowl after missing the mark a year ago.
