Braves roll past Red Sox

The Home Federal Braves defeated the VFW Red Sox 19-3 in four innings in recent Little League Baseball action at Huff Park. Will McCarthy and Ethan Cornett pitched two innings each in the win. McCarthy allowed three runs and struck out four batters. Cornett pitched the final two innings, allowing just one hit and striking out five. The Braves were led at the plate by Cameron Burkhart’s three-run home run. McCarthy had three RBI on a single and a double. Kilian Ledford doubled and drove in three runs. Jacob Wilson singled twice, driving in four runs. Cornett singled driving in two runs.

Andrew Noah singled twice for VFW. Chris Brown added a single. Shane Hagle, Jonathan Mowery and Andrew Noah shared mound duty for the Red Sox.
