Kenneth Jackson, age 63 of Cawood, KY passed away on Friday, May 26, 2012 at his residence. He was born February 9, 1949 to the late William and Octavia Jackson. He was a retired coal miner and believed in the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Pamela Jackson; and two sisters, Mary Sue Dean and Betty Gale Jackson.

Survivors include one daughter, Melanie Brown of Gate City, VA; step-children, Ray Jackson and wife Roxie of Wallins, KY and Wendy Felker and husband Paul of Wallins, KY; two grandchildren, Micah and Kaylan Brown; step-grandchildren, Cody and Tyler Maggard, Scotty Williams, Jessica and Zachary Jackson, Christopher Galanti, and Haley and Laura Felker; brothers, William Jackson, Jr. of Corbin, KY, Ernie Jackson of Grays Knob, KY, and Raymond Jackson of Baxter, KY; several other relatives and friends also survive.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
