She was preceded in death by two husbands, Levi Simpson and Everette V. Noe; her parents, Shade Caldwell and Laura Belcher Caldwell; 12 brothers and sisters, Sarah, Henry L, Mentie, Simon, Thea, Merlie, Arnold, Della, Paul, Eli, Robert and Jess Caldwell.
Elsie is survived by two step-sons, Everette Noe and wife Sylvia, Wallins and David Noe, Wallins; also surviving are 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. Saturday at Banner Fork Pentecostal Church, Wallins.
Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday June 23. 2012 in the Harlan County Memorial Gardens, Freshmeadows, KY.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
