Authorities say a white male entered Kay’s Grocery on KY 221 in Harlan County around 1:30 p.m. and demanded the money from the cash register. He then fled in a late 1980s or early 1990s model blue Toyota pickup truck. The perpetrator was described as a white male approx 6 foot tall, weighing around 220 pounds.
Abner said no one was injured in the robbery.
