The Tri-City All-Stars scored 12 runs in the final two innings to rally for a 20-18 victory over Harlan for second place in the Area 4 (9-10) Tournament at Hazard recently.
Quinton Boggs led the Tri-City offense with four doubles and a single. Justin Brown added a double and three singles. Zac Collett had three singles. Elijah Estep contributed a double and single. Riley Steele added a single.
Brown, Collett and Ryan Mefford each pitched for Tri-City.
Harlan was led by Jacob Brown and Caleb Adkins with three singles each. Jay Harris, Layne Jones and Ethan Cornett singled twice each. Ben Landis and Brady Adkins contributed one single each.
The Tri-City All-Stars advance to the District 4 Tournament this weekend at Manchester.
