Heartland Payment Systems, one of the nation’s largest payment processors, hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the grand opening of the company’s new Heartland School Solutions facility in Harlan on Thursday. Heartland School Solutions Director Terry Roberts said Heartland Payment Systems has 3,500 employees nationwide and with the opening of the Harlan facility there are now 25 of those employees in Harlan County.
