Harlan County Emergency Management assistant director Tyler Cornett said there was a small fire in one of the exam rooms on the second floor of the Daniel Boone Clinic on Tuesday evening. The exam room is located next to the Harlan ARH Hospital emergency room. Cornett said the Harlan city and the Sunshine fire departments responded to the fire. He said the fire was contained to that one exam room. He said the state fire marshal will be investigating the cause of the fire. An ARH official said the clinic will be open today for normal business.
