Reva Fields White age 83 of Wallins, KY went home to be with the Lord at her residence Monday, August 13, 2012. Reva was born March 3, 1929 in Blackie, KY to the late Marlin and Charity (Wilson) Fields. She was a loving mother and grandmother to all of her children. She first gave her heart to the Lord at the age of 12. She was a strong and powerful woman of God and was faithful to the Lord. Everyone that knew her, knows that she was a very special, happy lady who never met a stranger and always had a smile on her face. She loved all her brothers and sisters in the Lord. She retired from Harlan ARH after 32 years of service where she served proudly as a dietician. Reva believed in the holiness faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 52 years, George Leslie White, Jr.; infant son, Paul White; son, Kenneth Ray White; daughters, Carolyn Saylor and Mary Brock.

Survivors include one daughter, Shirley Brock; special granddaughters, Margaret Brock, Leslie Brock, Lisa Grubbs, Kimberly Bravo, and Kay White; special great granddaughters, Renee Fee (Josh), Nicole Napier (Josh), Mary Beth Brock, Chantelle Vance (Josh), Chasity and Kacie Phillips, Kendra Brock, McKenzie Fogle, and Madison Ward; great grandsons, Billy Brock and Joe Brock (Shana); she also has five beloved great, great grandchildren; and a very special sister-in-law and best friend, Margaret Wilson of Harpers Ferry, WV.

Visitation will be held for Reva on Thursday, August 16, 2012 after 5 p.m. at Bud Simpson’s Church in Wallins, KY.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, August 17, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at the church with the Rev. Jerry Collins and Rev. Denny Renfro officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Keith, KY. Pallbearers will be Josh Fee, Josh Vance, Josh Napier, Billy Brock, Danny Noe, and Snook Farmer.
