John Diarus Dagnan 76, of Wallins , Ky passed away October 1,2012 at his residence. He was born February 27, 1936 in Whiteside, Tn. He was a veteran of the US Army. He was retired a Forklift operator and Yard Boss from Southern Wholesale and believed in the Church of God Faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Rev. Roy and Hattie Clayton Dagnan . Five brothers and sisters.

He is survived by two children; Tina Sears and husband Ben , Tony Dagnan and wife Euna both of Wallins, Ky and their mother; Wilma Hensley. Five grandchildren ;Michael Christopher, Anthony Dagnan Jr ,Danielle Osborne and Lacey Sears all of Wallins, Ky. David Sears of Johnson City,Tn.One Great-grandchild; Laila Jade Dagnan of Wallins ,Ky. Special Companion; Clara Mildred Hensley of Wallins,Ky. Two sisters; Vivian Craig of Cincinnati , Oh and Beatrice Hess of Somerset, Ky. A host of other Family and Friends also survive.

Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday October 4,2012 at 11:00 AM at Mt.Pleasant Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Thomas and Rev. Ed Huston officiating the service. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery in Keith,KY with The Harlan County Honor Guard presenting Military Honors.

Visitation will be held Wednesday October 3, 2012 from 5 to 8:00 pm in the Chapel of Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home.
