John R. “Bobby” Nalley, age 69, of Harlan, formerly of Marion County, passed away Friday, October 5, 2012 at Harlan ARH Hospital.

He was born March 1, 1943 in Marion County. He was a former Tobacco Farmer.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Mattingly, his father, Albert Nalley, three brothers, Charles Benningfield, Lawrence Mattingly and Elmer Mattingly

Survivors include five daughters, Sandra Lamb (Rodney), Tammy Daniels (Roger), Angelia Brewer (Jim), all of Harlan, Renee Artreche (Gerson) of Beloit, Wisconsin, and Debbie Lamb of Williamsburg, 16 grandchildren, Nicole Brooks (Michael), James De La Torre (fiancée Kasey Tolliver), Debra Witt, Meagan Witt, Corissa Daniels, Houston Daniels, Whitney Brewer, Hunter Brewer, Kateline Brewer, Amanda Artreche, Austin Artreche, Abbigail Artreche, Andrew Artreche, Destiney Lamb, Ray Dillman (Niki), April Lamb, seven great-grandchildren, Annabelle Brooks, Ethyn Carr, Caylee Witt, Aubree Brewer, Michaela Snyder, Kiera Snyder, Karissa Snyder, one sister, Bernice Reynolds of Campbellsville, one brother, David Benningfield (Brenda) of New Haven, two sisters-in-law, Margie Benningfield of New Haven and Cheryl Mattingly of Loretto, several nieces and nephews and lots of friends.

Funeral Services were held 1:30 PM Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, followed by cremation. Rev. R. Joseph Hemmerle officiated.
