Joey Lee Leslie age 45 of Loyall passed away Sunday at Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was born December 13, 1966 in Harlan, Kentucky and was of the Pentecostal Faith and a Coal Miner employeed by Southern Coal Company for the last 11 years and a Veteran of the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Tommy and Lura McKinney, grandmother Annie Perkins, uncle Bob McKinney.

Survived by his wife Rhonda Leslie, daughters Misty Hatfield(Paul) of Loyall, Kaylee Leslie of Loyall, Sons Tommy Leslie (Sirena), Timothy Leslie both of Loyall, Mother and stepfather Oneda and Charles Spurlock Jr. Loyall, Father and stepmother William Joseph Leslie of Waverly, Ohio. Sister Christie Smith (Mike) of Coldiron, grandchildren William, Alex, Laura Hatfield and Leighton Leslie, Niece and nephew Michael and Sara Beth Smith Mother and Father in Law Drucilla and Ben Noe of Catrons Creek., special friend Betty Smith.

Funeral service 7:00 P.M. Tuesday in the Chapel of Anderson- Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Reverend Billy Owens officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:45 A.M. Wednesday at Resthaven Cemetery Chapel for a 12:00 graveside service. Pallbearers Paul Hatfield, Jimmy Rouse, Michael Smith, Forrest Gordon, Brian Owens and Mike Smith. Visitation 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at Anderson- Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
