Mr. Allen was born March 9, 1945 to Hampton Howard Allen, Sr and Maxine Mossie Kelly. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and believed in the Baptist Faith.
He was preceded in death by his father and his wife, Shirley Allen.
He is survived by his mother, Maxine M. Kelly Allen; 2 children, Stephen Daniel Allen and Carolyn Michelle Carter both of Pennington Gap, VA; sister, Shelia Ann (Louis) Allen of Cincinnati, OH. He leaves other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
The family has chosen cremation and no services are planned at this time.
