Billy Long, Sr., 83 of Cincinnati, OH formerly of Coldiron passed away Saturday, October 3, 2012 at the Drake Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. He was a native of Harlan County, and a U.S. Army Veteran and believed in the Church of God faith.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary A. Long; his parents, George Washington Long and Rusha Osborne Long; five brothers, Lawrence Long, Virgil Long, Sr., Delbert Long, Bobby Long and Victor Long; three sisters, Maudie Long, Lillie Long and Victoria Long.

Billy is survived by two sons, Billy Long, Jr. and Marsha Crable, Cincinnati, OH; and Donald Long, Cincinnati, OH; one brother, Donald Long, Virginia Beech, VA; three sisters, Mellie Saylor, Coldiron; Reva Russell, Mt. Washington, KY and Florence Russell, Louisville, KY; two grandchildren, Andrew Long and Adam Long, Cincinnati, OH.

Visitation will be 5-8 P.M. Wednesday at the Coldiron Church of God Mt. Assembly.

Funeral services will 11 A.M. Thursday, October 8, 2012 at the Church with Reverend Jack Carmical officiating.

Military Rites will be by the Harlan Honor Guard.

Burial will be in the Long Cemetery, Happy Top, Wallins, KY

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
