Krista is survived by her loving husband of 14 years, Holger Schmidt; her mother, Viki Johnson; and her father, Douglas “Willie” Johnson, of Harlan, KY. She is the devoted mother of two sons, Dustin Oestreich and Jared Schmidt; and sister of Doug A. Johnson, Mike Johnson, and Michelle Wagner. Krista also leaves behind uncles, Milus Lewis, Jerry Lewis and James Johnson, of Somerset, KY; her aunts, Terressa Dore, Desta Hacker, and Judy Bentley; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins and her special pets, Lollipop, Ren, and Smokey.
Krista was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Wagner. The family has requested that services be private
