William Franklin Price Sr. of Bean Station was born on Elm St. in Harlan, Ky. October 30, 1952 and passed from this side of Jordan to Eternal Life with Our Lord and Savior on December 24, 2012. He was a member of New Beginning Missionary Baptist church in Bean Station; but most important he was a born again Christian who believed and loved the Lord with all his heart and soul and believed John 3:16. He was preceded in death by his son William Franklin Price Jr.; his parents Cintha Ray Smith Price and Leonard (Shotgun) Price; brother, Elhannon Smith; sister-in-law, Mary Lee Smith; nephew and niece, Earl Murphy and Betty Gail Smith; father-in-law, A.C. Lamb; and brother-in-law, Larry Lamb.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Flora Jean Price; daughter and son-in-law, Flora Arneita Stewart and Keith Stewart; son, Mark Edward Price; and one adopted grandson, Michael A. Scott price, all of Bean Station; daughter-in-laws, Helen Leeann Price and Patricia Lucas; grandchildren, Keith Stewart Jr.,Matthew Stewart, Tyler Stewart, Cody Price, Gage Price, Amber Price, Brittany Price, and Alicia; step-grandchildren, Kody and Brittany Lucas; 5 great grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Harold (Vivian) Lamb of Darkmont, Ky.,Doug (Francise) Lamb of River Ridge, Ky., Bill Lamb of Colts Ky.; sisters-in-law, Jaquata Ireton of Morristown, Louise (Bob) Mattson of London, Ky., Penny Partin of Lejunior Ky., and a very special mother-in-law, Mary Lamb of Colts, Ky.; one special niece, Velma Lee Smith (Jim) Patterson of Coxton, Ky.; one special cousin, Dorothy Gambrel of Pineville Ky., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He treasured and loved each and every one of you.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 28, 2012 at New Beginning Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Darrell Ramsey and Rev. Gary Baxley officiating. Interment will be 3:00 P.M. Friday at Tweed Family Cemetery in Black Joe, Ky. The family will receive friends Wednesday and Thursday, 5:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. at the church.
