Ralph William White, age 76 of Cumberland, KY passed away Thursday, January 03, 2013, at the Tri Cities Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born June 13, 1936 in Cumberland to the late Cornelius and Mae Creech White. Ralph worked 38 years for the Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College System, first as an M & O Supervisor and later as an Information Technology Manager. He served in the US Navy, was a 32nd Scottish Rite Mason and member of the Cumberland Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Wendell White.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Mary Lou White, of Cumberland; son, David White of Cumberland; brothers, Bobby Darrell White (Joyce) of Cincinnati, OH, David White (Wilma) of Cincinnati, OH, and Roy White (Kay) of Lexington; sisters, Gladys Keith (Kenneth) of Cumberland and Pat Keith (late Arville) of Cumberland; granddaughter, Wendy White Cornett (Dustin) of Gordon; great granddaughter, Destiny Marie Cornett, of Gordon; and a host of family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 05, 2013, from 5 – 9 pm at the Cumberland Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at the church on Sunday, January 06, 2013, at 1 pm with the Reverend Dennis Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Peaceful Acres Cemetery at Hiram, KY. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers and deacons of the church to serve as honorary pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass and/or the Cumberland Missionary Baptist Church in memory of Ralph.
