Ronnie “Punk” King, 45 of Pine Mountain, KY passed away Jan. 3, 2013 at his home following a courageous fight with cancer.

Ronnie was born April 25, 1967 to the late, Charles “Shorty” King and Bernice Dean King, of Pine Mountain. He was a disabled coal miner and believed in the Holiness Faith.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Charlie King; 2 sisters, Wanda and Rosa King.

Punk is survived by his daughter, Sara Jane King of Harlan; 4 sisters, Sandra (Noble Lee) Brooks of Clarksville, TN, Lisa Lawson of Harlan, Debbie King of Harlan, and Kim Bailey and Fiancée Ken Grubbs of Cawood; 2 special nephews, Brady Gross and Myles Yonts; special and dear friend, Billy Broughton of Pine Mountain, special cousin, Tommy Dean; he leaves a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at the Hensley Cemetery at Smith with Rev. Bo Lee officiating.

Pallbearers will be Nathaniel Yonts, Stephen Morton, Noble Lee Brooks, Billy Broughton, Frankie Clem and Hogan Garrett.

Keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation.
